Ah! Fall is almost here and the new school year is beginning. This has always been an exciting time for me…a return to structure and business, a return to long days and longer nights of toiling. I myself will not be going to school as a “student” per se but I will be teaching young people.
A lot of the sentiments in the video above are shared by many people…and frankly by a lot of older people as our society continually slows the “growing up process” in order for people to find themselves. I suppose that we’ve reached one of the higher echelons of maslow’s pyramid where the focus is on self-edification and more metaphysical things rather than survival.
Regardless, the weather brings back lots of great memories…if you aren’t following me on twitter yet you should…as well as @Billy he’s quite a character.
